This proved to be an easy run out for the Ambers against an inexperienced Battyeford side.

Ryan Stokes started the game with a hat trick within the first 2 minutes. Threes well take goals full of powerful running, good dribbling and the last with a great finish into the top corner leaving the home side reeling from the very start.

The first half continued with all the pressure coming from Kirkheaton, with no touches for the keeper all half and the defence not really under any pressure, being marshalled well by both Jacob Broadhead and Sam Eade when needed.

George Hirst made it 4-0 with a finish from close in, and Will Jackson made it 5-0 showing great tenacity and strength to fire past the keeper.

The final goal of the first half came from Amel with a lovely finish to make it 6-0 after good work from Sam and Will.

The second half continued in the same manner. Battyeford were no match for Kirkheaton who showed good touches in midfield from Charlie Dawson and Will, who were both constant hard workers in midfield.

It was Jacob Broadhead who was the first to continue the scoring, with two goals in a short space of time following some good runs from midfield and good interposing play with Charlie.

Sam was the first Kirkheaton goalkeeper to touch the ball, but there was no danger, and from a throw, Will made a powerful run down the wing and finished past the keeper to make it 9-0.

Ryan finished the game as he started. On the scoresheet and running with ease past the home defence for the final two goals of the game.

11-0 it finished. Well done boys.
